I’ve always wanted to try yoga but...
I’m not flexible - Creating steadiness of mind is the aim, greater flexibility is a bonus
I don’t know where to start - Start where you are and seek out a teacher
I try to avoid pain - If you have pain during yoga class something is wrong!
I have a bad knee, back, wrist - As long as your doctor gives you the green light it should be safe. Poses can be modified to prevent injury or pain in most cases
I don’t want to look stupid - No judgement allowed! We all need to step out of our comfort zone
Yoga is for soccer moms - Traditionally, only men and boys practiced yoga. Yoga is for everyone!
